Lakes and Bay

1Voice Lakes and Bay has members from around the Lake District. They have been established as an independent group for over 13 years, and we are delighted that they have chosen to become a branch of 1Voice.

The Lakes and Bay branch currently hold a summer and Christmas event every year. The date of the next event will be announced here.

Next Events

Monday 2nd August, Wetheriggs Animal Resue and Conservation centre. We will be feeding animals, having close encounters with spiders and snakes and painting pottery if people want. If you would like to join us contact 1voicelakesandbay@1voice.info for more information.

Thursday 19th August we are going bowling then to Happy Mount park if the weather is good, out for lunch somewhere else if it isn't.

Christmas Party, December 2009

1Voice Lakes and Bay had a Christmas party. There were 31 people there including 10 who use AAC and their families, carers and friends. We had puzzles and quizzes to do, pass the parcel played Boccia and had lots of good things to eat. Father Christmas sent a special representative who also used AAC and gave all the children a present.
